Summit offers several extended programs in addition to the regular school day including vacation camps and Summer at Summit. These programs help parents navigate the challenges of childcare during school breaks.
Summer at Summit
Summer at Summit covers 9-10 weeks of the summer break for Beginner and Children’s House and 2-3 weeks of
Elementary camp. These camps feature weekly thematic programming outside of the Montessori curriculum
• Cross level programming
• Focus on sports, arts, gross motor play, and socio-emotional growth
Vacation Camp
Children work collaboratively on theme-based projects, art, science, and drama. There is ample time for outdoor play, and a healthy mixture of active and quiet activities.
- Vacation Care is provided for selected vacation weeks, typically part of December (excluding Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve), February (excluding President’s Day), and April (excluding Patriot’s Day) and parent-teacher conference (fall and spring) days.
- Full and half day enrollment is available. Current costs are $90 per full day and $50 per half day.
