Summit offers several extended programs in addition to the regular school day including EarlyCare, AfterCare, and afterschool Explorations. These programs help parents navigate the challenges of childcare beyond the school day.
EarlyCare
EarlyCare is available prior to the start of the school day and is only by advanced registration. It is available on a daily basis. Please contact office@summitmontessori.org for more specific information.
AfterCare
AfterCare runs almost every day of the school year until 5:00pm for Beginners and 5:30pm for Children’s House and Elementary. Students generally have an afternoon snack, a group circle, and play time (usually outdoors when the weather allows). It is primarily by advanced registration, although there may be limited spaces available for daily drop-ins. Families can choose how many days per week their child attends AfterCare and register and pay by the semester.
Students participate in sports, arts, gross motor play, and they have the flexibility to choose what activities to participate in. There are often themed days and special programming like music and cooking.
