Marwa ElBakly

Lower Elementary Teacher

Marwa is thrilled to be part of the community at Summit Montessori School, having joined the team in August 2025. Her journey in education began with a deep fascination for culture and communication, leading her to earn her Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts in the Oriental Languages department. This academic foundation paved the way for a rewarding ten-year career as a lead Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher, where she developed a passion for guiding young learners through their most formative years. Interestingly, Marwa’s very first experience inside a classroom was as an intern in a Montessori Lower Elementary environment; that early exposure to the Montessori philosophy left a lasting impression, eventually bringing her career full circle.

Marwa’s connection to the Montessori method is deeply personal and rooted in her own upbringing. Growing up in a trilingual household, she experienced firsthand how language shapes our perception of the world and fosters a natural adaptability. This background mirrors the Montessori emphasis on the “absorbent mind” and the importance of a prepared environment that respects a child’s individual rhythm. Just as navigating three languages required her to be observant and culturally aware, Marwa brings that same spirit of multilingualism and global perspective into the classroom to help students find their own unique voices. When she is not in the classroom, Marwa cherishes spending quality time with her husband and two children.
