Diana comes to Summit with a wealth of in-depth experience in the Montessori world. Diana taught as a Lower El teacher at Lexington Montessori School for 18 years following the completion of her Lower Elementary training (Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative) in 2004. She has served as a member of the METTC teacher training staff from 2013 to the present. Diana taught last year at the TEC School in Worcester, also as a Lower Elementary teacher.
Diana holds a BA in Art History from Oberlin College, and her AMS 6-9 Elementary credential from METTC. She has trained in graphic design at the MA College of Art and has held art internships at the ICA (Boston), and the Paula Cooper Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Kornblee and Hamilton Galleries, all in NYC.
Diana has authored and illustrated a book, Could You Grow a Pencil?, was a previous board member of the Young Audiences of MA, and is a member of Orchestra Marhaba, a Turkish Ottoman music ensemble.
