Barrett Grizzard (she/her) is an artist and art educator who started her Summit journey in 2021. Before that, she taught art for many years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Chicago Children’s Museum, and in many different types of schools, after-schools and art centers. As an artist, she loves to work in a variety of mediums and enjoys sharing this passion with her students. She believes that when children are presented with engaging, hands-on activities using real materials, they will come up with incredible ideas.
Barrett received an MAT in Art Education from Tufts University and holds a BFA in painting from Maryland Institute College of Art.
