In addition to being a parent of two students, Lise brings an impressive background in teaching as a horticulturalist and garden educator (MA Horticultural Society in Wellesley) and Farm Manager and educator (Queens Botanical Garden, Flushing NY). She worked in these jobs for a total of 8 years. During her time in New York, Lise also began her Montessori teacher training (3–6-year-old level) at the West Side Montessori Teacher Education Program. That work was unfortunately cut short when an employment shift required that she and her family move from the area, but the Montessori fuse had been lit!
Lise has served as a substitute teacher and lunch support teacher at Summit for the past year. She earned a BFA in Dance and Choreography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
