Ellen Fitzpatrick (she/her) joins us as our Learning Specialist. Ellen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Providence College, with a Master’s Degree in Autism Studies and Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College. Her expertise in special education has been honed through teaching students with differing needs in a variety of settings. She has worked extensively with families affected by autism and other disabilities for over 10 years. Ellen joined the Summit community in 2022, and is passionate about social emotional learning. Her knowledge of special education laws enables her to advocate for student needs and support families who are navigating the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process. She believes in celebrating neurodiversity and creating inclusive spaces for everyone. Ellen lives in Hopkinton with her wife, daughter, and 2 golden doodles.
