“Rather than sticking to something in particular, my teachers at Summit allowed and encouraged me to change and grow. Montessori gave me the foundation I needed to work to my limits… Many years after graduating from Summit, I still appreciate the small, intimate environment, the small working groups, the liberal arts discussions I had there. I still like to work in small groups. The multiage classrooms taught me to work with a variety of people, to listen, to learn from others, and to be open to new ideas.” – Jason Prince
“I’m not afraid to ask questions.” – Julianna Bauer
“I felt I had an edge in leadership, in learning about people and having empathy with others in a group. I was able to connect with others in my new school and bring people together.” – Callie Kamanitz
“I’ve had the experience of taking charge of my learning. Last year in physics I learned in class and then I learned more on my own online. I was the person who had finished the work packet and was running around helping other students.” – Katie Gregory
